The Grant SBB28 is a robust, high quality unstirred boiling bath for direct immersion of samples. It provides continuous, steady 100ºC operation without violent boiling, spitting or producing excessive steam.

Accessory options for SBB28
Lids and polypropylene spheres
LU28 gabled lid - directs condensation away from immersed vessels, avoids contamination
LF28 flat lid - with six ring sets to provide openings of variable diameter (31 to 105 mm) to accommodate tall vessels whilst reducing evaporation
PS20 polypropylene spheres - minimises evaporation and heat loss whilst allowing easy access to vessels; useful alternative to a lid, particularly when tall vessels are being immersed. Two PS20 packs per SBB28 bath required.
Racks and shelves
RS28H raised shelf - provides two alternative depths to accommodate different sizes/shapes of vessels simultaneously. More than one shelf can be used to achieve a range of depths. RS28H covers half the area of SBB28.
J2 test tube rack - SBB28 will accommodate one to four J2 test tube racks. There is a choice of eight J2 racks to accommodate different tube diameters and microtubes:
