The Grant Optima™ GP200 series of digitally controlled stirred water baths and circulators provides outstanding performance for routine and sophisticated applications requiring accurate temperature control up to a maximum of 200ºC.
Grant GP200 series systems combine the powerful and versatile Grant Optima™ GP200 digital immersion thermostat with a choice of three economy plastic (P) tanks or five stainless steel (S) tanks with different capacities.
The Grant GP200 immersion thermostat incorporates Intelligent Control Optimisation™ (ICO) for adaptive intelligent PID temperature control and includes a powerful integral pump, making GP200 systems suitable both for immersing samples and circulating temperature controlled fluid to external devices. The temperature range and heater power are automatically limited according to the liquid type selected.
The GP200 control unit has a host of powerful and convenient programming features for optimum application flexibility. These include a convenient heater timer for early starts/late shutdowns, two programmable relays for switching external devices on/off, option for remote temperature monitoring, RS232 interface for PC communication and data collection, and memory capacity for five programs of up to 30 segments each.
- Dual display: bright LED for temperature display plus 2-line 16 character LCD for easy programming
- Twin heaters, 2kW heater power for fast heat up
- Pt1000 external probe socket for remote monitoring
- Powerful integral pump with multi-stage variable flow rate, maximum flow 21L/min
- Variable high and low temperature alarm settings - configurable to switch relays
- Choice of 5 operator languages
- Optional Labwise™ PC software for program set-up, data logging and real-time graphing
- Maximum cooling/heating range (dependent on tank size): ambient +5 to 99ºC with plastic (P) tank, or -15 to 200ºC with stainless steel (S) tank
- Stability ± 0.005ºC
Note: Alternatively, the Grant Optima™ GP200 immersion thermostat can also be used to regulate the temperature in vessels other than Grant tanks. Such vessels must have vertical sides and a maximum wall thickness of 35 mm for rectangular tanks, 30 mm for circular tanks (300 mm diameter) and a capacity of up to 50 litres. The control unit is attached to other vessels by means of a clamp.
The powerful Grant Optima™ GP200 series of water baths and circulators with plastic (P) tanks represents excellent performance and value for money for more demanding applications requiring accurate temperature control in the range of ambient plus 5 to 99ºC.
- Robust plastic construction, double-walled for rigidity, easy to clean; designed for use with water
- Convenient recessed handholds for carrying/repositioning the unit
- Heating range ambient +5 to 99ºC (ambient +15 to 99ºC for P5 5-litre tank)
- Stability ± 0.005ºC
- Choice of three different plastic tanks sizes:
Bath model GP200-P5 - 5 litre
